We help kids overcome learning difficulties

Chisholm Centre has offered specialized educational and psychological services since 1972. Chisholm is inspected as a private school by the Ministry of Education and Training. We are registered as a post secondary institution by the federal government and as a certified training facility by the provincial government. Our teachers have professional teaching credentials and experience in special education. Supervisory staff have post graduate degrees and our psychologists and psychological associates are registered with the Ontario College of Psychologists.

Chisholm provides services to individuals, hospitals, schools, colleges, corporations and government agencies. The diversity and expertise of our staff enable us to provide comprehensive educational, psychological and vocational services.

Because Chisholm is an independent centre, our staff is able to utilize programs and materials that are most appropriate in each situation. We select from a wide variety of traditional materials, often supplementing these with computer software. Our educational programs are directed toward improving fundamental skills and self-confidence.

The staff of Chisholm Centre assists clients to feel comfortable in our setting. We listen carefully to the concerns of those we serve and have the expertise to provide effective programs and useful recommendations. Clients have full access to all information that we report, and we ensure confidentiality.
