AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIAL CLASSES
For Elementary and Secondary Students

In this progressive and competitive world, our children need an advantage. Chisholm helps to provide that advantage through offering highly structured after school programs for elementary and secondary students.

In 1971, Chisholm opened it doors as an after school assistance program. Our expertise since those early days has increased dramatically. We are now able to provide after school and summer programs for any area of concern.Our students range from those who are gifted, to average children, to those who require intensive assistance.

After an initial consultation and assessment, an Individual Educational Plan is written for each student in our after school program. Our teaching staff are certified professionals and Chisholm provides ongoing training programs for all staff members. A Program Supervisor is assigned to each student to review their progress and to maintain contact with parents on a regular basis.

Our overall student to teacher ratio is less than two students per teacher.

Classes are offered throughout the school year and students attend once or twice per week.

In addition to individualized programs, Chisholm customizes services for Test Preparation Courses such as the S.S.A.T., S.A.T., G.E.D., and the Grade 10 Provincial Literacy Test.

English as a Second Language is available at all levels, for children and adults. Adult Upgrading is also available on an individual basis and is often funded by employers or agencies.

Our summer program is offered in July and August and we provide parents and students with the flexibility to enjoy their summer holidays yet benefit from superior educational programming.

As the longest operating after school program in the area, Chisholm has learned that specific programming, great staff, superior facilities and materials and constant communication with parents is the recipe for success in school.
